Welcome back to the Essential Astrocast.

I am your host, Veronica Perretti, and

to when you wanna know what's going
on up in the heavens, so that you can

dictate your fate down here on earth.

Okay, so it's been a couple
weeks since we spoke.

And a lot has happened.

we have Neptune and Aries now, which
has really changed the pace of things.

It's really shifted the energy.

You might notice that people are seeming
a little more willing to enter the fight.

We might have a little
more pep in our step.

We might not be so sleepy.

We might not be so exhausted.

Now, not to say that
you can't be exhausted.

There's a lot of energy.

There's so much happening up in the skies.

So one of the groups I'm.

One of the women asked me what's
going on in the astrology?

So I'm in a business group that my friend
Michelle Maer runs, which is wonderful.

It's called Expert Up
Club, and it's great.

It's lots of women marketing
their small businesses.

It's fantastic.

And she said, what's going
on with the astrology?

What should we know about?

The world is so heavy right now.

And it was so hard for me to write a
post that was not like five paragraphs.

'cause there's so much happening and
we could sit here and dice through

all of it, but I don't think that
that is the most useful thing to do.

I think what is really useful right now
is looking at the larger overarching

themes because there is so much happening.

So before I jump into
that, I just wanna say.

I lost my voice last week,
so I'm still getting it back.

So if I sound a little funny, um, you
know why I, you know, got a cold like

over two weeks ago and just couldn't
shake it and then of course lost my voice.

So I'm still working on getting it back.

So I wanted to record today 'cause
I didn't wanna leave you hanging

'cause I know there is so much
happening and people are wondering.

What's going on up in the heavens
because I wanna know what I should

be doing here on Earth, which
is the tagline of this podcast.

So I'm gonna try to keep it essential.

Today.

I am gonna try to keep it really dialed
in because I know there's a lot happening

and there's a lot spinning in my head
because I'm looking at all of these

things and then I'm looking at the
historical context and I'm looking at.

What happened the last time this was
here, and I'm trying to suss that out.

And what I am thinking is that this is
gonna be a year where I'm gonna have

to do a lot of workshops because a lot
of the things that I'm researching and

looking into, just take more time to
really piece through and understand.

So, Put a pin in that and let's
get to what's happening right now.

So I am recording this
on February 3rd, 2026.

Last time we spoke, which was a
couple of weeks ago, so that was

middle of January, we had, all
the planets joining with Pluto.

So Pluto is the god of the underworld.

when the personal planets join
with Pluto, they see the darkness

and that is what's going on.

We are seeing the darkness.

sun joined with Pluto.

It illuminated the darkness.

So we're here, we've seen it.

but that despair that many
of us have been feeling.

It is starting to shift and
I hope you're feeling it too.

It's starting to feel like we
have a little bit more hope.

I know that we're still
in a very dark place.

It is going to take a long time
to get out of this dark place.

Astrologically what's going on right now?

We are going to be working
with this energy till 2028.

This is not like, oh, we just
gotta get through this year.

Yeah, we gotta get through this year,
but we gotta keep the foot on the gas.

So it's not just about calling
your representatives in Congress.

Because you're angry about
what you saw on the news today.

It's about staying engaged, organizing,
tapping into communities that can

keep you informed and help you
stay engaged and keep showing up.

Because what we are seeing right now is.

A groundswell because we have all of these
planets in Aquarius, very close together.

Aquarius is the sign associated
with groups and communities.

So one of the things I noticed, the
themes that I'm just kind of tapping

into when I look around or watch
something, we're seeing people come

together and support one another This
is happening at protests all over

the country, not just in Minneapolis.

There are protests happening
in prison camps right now.

So there were families at the Dili
Center in Texas where that young boy,

that five-year-old was being held,
Those families heard they got word

that people were protesting outside
and then they had protests themselves

inside that concentration camp.

And yes, I'm calling it a concentration
camp because that's what it is.

A concentration camp is a
prison camp that concentrates on

imprisoning people of a particular
demographic, and we are imprisoning.

Spanish speaking people, Hispanic and
Latino people in this country right

now, and these are concentration camps.

What is interesting to me is that not
only are you getting pushback from the

outside, from people like you and me who
are afraid, but there are brave people

on the inside who are also fighting
for their own freedom and liberation.

Why is this important to us?

Astrologically.

We are looking at, of course, it's
important to us as humans, right?

First and foremost, we are
humans living on earth.

The most important planet is earth,
and so we should all care about

this regardless of the astrology.

Why am I sharing it with you on an
astrology podcast, I suppose is a

better question, and that is because
this week is all about Uranus.

Uranus is the modern day ruler of
Aquarius, but Uranus is currently in TAUs.

Uranus is the rebel.

Uranus is the change maker.

Uranus likes to shake things up.

Uranus can be a rebel for
good and a rebel for bad.

All planets are neutral energy,
planetary energy astrology.

It's a neutral.

Astrology, does not care about your color.

Astrology does not care
about your beliefs.

Astrology does not care
if you believe in it.

We are looking at patterns
and cycles of time.

Astrology is a calendar.

We have found through time as we
study astrology that there are certain

patterns and cycles psychologically,
societally, that show up, right?

And so that is what I come on this mic
to talk to you about, to help you be

able to live a more intentional life.

So with that.

We know all these planets
are concentrated in Aquarius.

Uranus is stationing direct today.

So as I'm recording this,
Uranus is for all intents and

purposes stopping in the sky.

He's been retrograde and he
will now resume forward motion.

So this is really interesting
because, the planets that.

Are associated with
communication and relationship.

Mercury, Venus, Mars, mercury, and
Venus are going to be squaring state.

Mercury and Venus are going to
be squaring Uranus this week

while our attention is on Uranus
because he's stationing direct.

So I'm gonna talk a little bit more
about what's going on in the world

today, just because I can't help but
see the very obvious threads that are

playing out in the world and how it
is being mirrored by the astrology.

So we see these groups that are
protesting, that are rebelling

against the authoritarian.

Regime and then we see another
movement that has nothing to do that.

With, that we see people who are
imprisoned In Alabama, the free Alabama

movement, which you might not know
about, which is people in prison who

are forced to work, which is slave
labor that is legal in this country.

So we again, see people rising up and
feeling brave enough to push back even

when they don't have their freedom.

And this to me is all very
much in alignment with Uranus.

Stationing, direct, those
squares from Venus and Mercury.

To Uranus, giving people the bravery
to just do something different, to try

something different, but the belief
that you can make a change that is

Neptune being at zero degrees Aries.

And so we just had Neptune
move into Aries on January 26th

and we are entering a new era.

February 20th is coming.

Saturn and Neptune will join
together at Zero Degrees Aries, I've

been talking about it for weeks.

I talked about it in
my year ahead workshop.

so many of the things that I

predicted are already happening.

'cause this year is really,
uh, off to the races, right?

So we see that

this.

Passion.

This fire is being ignited, and it's
not only being ignited for the people

that have the freedom to move about and
protest, it's being ignited in the people

that are actually imprisoned themselves.

So all of that is to say that my faith and
hope in humanity is starting to come back.

Not that I ever lost it completely,
but I was feeling quite disillusioned.

And I think part of that disillusionment
was Neptune being at 29 Degrees Pisces.

It felt really heavy.

It felt like you wanna
escape it, you want to.

Just go to sleep and wake me up
when it's over that kind of energy.

But now Neptune and Aries is like, okay,
I'm awake and I gotta do something,

because Aries is about taking action.

Also, as I started with this, all
these planets and Aquarius being really

concentrated, I mentioned this last
time, it does bring our focus in.

so this week with Uranus stationing
Direct, it's not just stationing direct

and therefore pulling our focus, it
is also stationing direct on Algoll.

So I don't talk too much about
the fixed stars here, but

Algol is kind of a famous one.

the story of Algol is, it is
representative of Medusa's Head

and the story of Medusa, is
that she was a woman who was.

Violated and then instead of being
protected and supported, she was punished

and then beheaded, but then her head
still held power even though it was

disembodied to turn people into stone.

Yeah, all of that to say, of
course, I'm seeing the thread there

between what's going on with Uranus
stationing direct on Medusa, on Algol

rather, and the parallel with what's
happening with the Jeffrey files.

So if you're not keeping up with
that, I'm not gonna get into that.

It is very, very, I'm not
gonna go into details on that.

Please do not worry.

But I will just say that there are
women who are survivors, who hopefully

this period of time that we are
entering into will receive justice

and Uranus stationing on Algol.

At this time, when these files were
dropped, we know that there are many more.

There are 3 million more
that we haven't seen.

But we're getting a lot of information.

People are sussing through it online.

the information is readily available,
lots of places, and we're seeing

how horrible this really was.

And again, this is the
illumination of the darkness.

We chose to incarnate to be
here together at this time.

There is a.

I, I really hesitate to say things
like this because I don't want to

be a person that is so in the woowoo
that I don't acknowledge the reality

of what most people are experiencing.

But I truly feel after the past week
that we are experiencing a moment

of true awakening in our society.

Awakening to how women have been
treated, how minority demographics

are being treated, the systems of
oppression that are just completely

threaded into the fiber of our society.

I think most of us, not all of us, but
most of us are having an awakening and

those of us that were already awake.

We are

being further called to welcome
in those who are waking up,

and that's what we have to do.

We have to just be here as sources
of light to welcome in those who

are finally seeing that light.

So I'm a little all over the
place today, so I apologize.

I feel like I am a little, there's so
many things I wanna say and I also want

to keep it really dialed in, so I'm a
little ramly, but stick with me here.

Mercury and Venus are conjunct,
basically conjunct right now.

We had them conjoin last week, so
they're both in the square, Uranus

this week, but they're also in an.

Sextile to Chiron.

So Mercury is communication.

Venus is our values.

What's important to us, our
relationships, the social order.

Um, Uranus, as I mentioned,
the change maker.

Uranus is stationing on Algol.

We talked about that.

This is the last time Uranus is
gonna station in Taurus because

Uranus is at the end of Taurus.

And come, April 25th, Uranus will
move into Gemini and we will not

see Uranus and Taurus for most of
our lifetimes unless you're very

young and you're listening to this.

So, we are gonna be done with
Taurus for Uranus, and that

is wonderful for all of you.

Fixed people, for the Tauruses, the
Scorpios, the Leos, and the Aquariuses.

Very happy for you.

You are gonna be done
with Uranus for a bit.

Of course, it doesn't mean you're gonna
be done with Uranus 'cause you'll still

be experiencing Uranus as he moves
through Gemini, but won't necessarily

be in, your sign or the opposite
sign or a sign that squares yours.

we are preparing for Uranus to move
into this new era, just like we're

preparing for this new era for
Neptune moving into Aries and Saturn.

Coming to Aries in a few weeks, and
Pluto has already been an Aquarius.

we are experiencing all of these
outer planets, these generational

transcendent planets, these planets that
encourage us to transcend the mundane.

They are moving into new signs.

We are certainly entering a new era.

So while people were talking about
this being a great awakening or a huge

reset for society, and I was like.

Eh, I don't know.

I don't wanna get too
bogged down in the woowoo.

I really, as we're seeing things
starting to unfold, and mind

you, this is just the beginning.

We have so much coming.

This is just the beginning,
if you can believe it.

This is the time in 2026
to take a deep breath

and buckle in, because we
haven't even started, we haven't

even really gotten started.

If you can believe that, you
know, we have a lot coming.

So with that, I'm starting to see and
believe that this really is a very,

very big moment of awakening for many
people, people have to choose to allow

themselves to be awakened, right?

So we've got Mercury and Venus in
the square of Uranus, which is going

to make us want to do new things.

It's gonna wanna make us be a little
rebellious, do things a little

bit differently, see things from
a new perspective, change it up.

But it's also sextile telling Chiron.

So someone might say something to
you and you're like, Ooh, that hurts.

Or, Ooh, I didn't expect
you to say it like that.

But that is a vehicle for healing because
these planets are also talking to Chiron.

And Chiron is the wounded healer.

Chiron is an Aries.

Chiron is helping us heal our feelings
of being worthy just for being.

our feelings around our
autonomy and our individuation.

So yeah, I feel like this is a ripe
moment for a lot of healing to happen.

It might feel a little bit of a surprise.

You might not expect it.

It might feel a little messy, but
there's still gonna be a lot of

opportunities to come together.

Amidst the messiness, and
that's what's important.

And we're seeing that all
over the world right now.

We're seeing that people feel more
powerful when they come together.

We're seeing that in the
protests all around the world.

So while everything.

Feels a little uranian, a little chaotic.

It feels like there's so much stuff
coming at you all the time right now.

You need to continue to honor.

Your nervous system and
what you can manage.

So if at any time you're
like, you know what?

I need to take a break from the phone.

I need to take a break from social media.

I did that last week.

I got to a point where I
was like, I can't take it.

It's too much.

And so I took a few days off
social media and it really

helped me realign with myself.

We have to stay grounded if we
are going to be able to show up.

First and foremost, as we move
into this new era, remember, we're

moving from a lot of water and earth
for many, many years into an era

that is defined by air and fire.

So you're gonna have to do the things that
remind you to stay embodied, that remind

you to, as the kids say, touch grass.

You're gonna have to put those
things in place to take care of

yourself, because things will be more.

In the spirit realm, in the intellectual
realm, we're not going to be drawn

into our physical realm as much by the
planetary energy, the cosmic energy.

So we have to do that work as spiritual
beings having a human experience.

On Friday though, we will
have Mercury move into Pisces.

right now we've got all these
planets in Aquarius and that is

helping us because we're ta we're
taking in this 30,000 foot view.

It's like you're up in a, in an airplane
and you can see everything down below.

You don't get into the details,
but you get the full picture.

So right now we're getting
a zoomed out full picture.

and then that's gonna shift, you know,
as we move forward into Pisces season and

more of these planets move into Pisces,
we're gonna go back into feeling energy.

Right now we're in very
intellectual energy right now.

right now we have all these planets
in air, in Aquarius, and They're

holding everything from a mental place.

We're intellectualizing, we're
rationalizing, we're finding logic.

We're working on organizing.

Aquarius is great at organizing
with other human beings.

It's the natural, humanitarian of
the Zodiac as well as the rebel.

As we move into the Pisces Energy
with Mercury moving into Pisces

on Friday, our minds are gonna be
dropping down into our hearts again.

We're gonna be feeling our thoughts.

we're gonna be communicating from
how we feel versus how we think.

Again, this is going to be good for art.

This is going to be good
for, emotional connection.

Um, not as good in terms of
keeping a calm, cool head.

Note that Mercury retrograde will
take place in the water signs.

This year it will be in Pisces, so we
are gonna be entering the shadow of

Mercury retrograde on February 12th.

So we just had a full moon on Sunday.

And it was at 13 degrees of Leo opposite
the Sun, of course, at 13 degrees

Aquarius, and the sun was conjunct Vesta,
and I don't talk about the asteroids too

much, but I thought it was interesting
because this full Moon was in Leo.

It really packed a punch.

We saw the full Moon on display
at the Grammys on Sunday nights.

He's now the most decorated
rap artist in history.

We really saw.

A lot of people speaking out about what's
going on using the term ice out, which

has taken off at the global protests.

So we really saw the Full Moon and Leo
on display because Aquarius, the Sun

and Aquarius is about coming together.

The groups and the communities that
share your values and your beliefs.

Leo is about being.

The star on the stage, it's
about letting your light shine.

It's about allowing yourself to be
seen and vulnerable so that people

can appreciate your authenticity.

So this full moon, the moon being in
Leo, the Sun being an Aquarius, the Moon,

reflecting back that sunlight of the
sun in Aquarius, it is an invitation.

To ask yourself, what are you devoted to?

What lights you up?

What ignites your passion and
how can your devotion to that be

something that is helpful to the
group, to the community that you're

a part of, to humanity as a whole.

So this is one of my favorite
axis in astrology because

they both want the same thing.

Leo wants to feel a sense of belonging
in the sense that it wants to be

accepted for who it authentically is.

It's most vulnerable self, and Aquarius
wants to belong to a group that.

Values it and honors it and
values the same things and

cares about the same things.

They both desire belonging.

So where.

Do we feel a sense of belonging or where
do we not feel a sense of belonging?

Where are we desiring it?

a woman that I'm friends with who lives
not where I live, she was saying how she

really was desiring in-person community
with women who we're willing to go deep.

And she recently started
finding a few people like that.

So what are you desiring
you're desiring to belong to?

A neighborhood where people ask each
other to, can I borrow this or that?

Are you desiring to, join a political
organization so that you can be part of

making the change that you wanna see?

maybe it's that you really wanna get back
to being in person at a gym where you can

be with people that you, wanna talk to.

It can be something really simple,
but where do you want to experience a

sense of belonging and how can you go
and offer your light to that place?

And it might be something small in
your personal life or your personal

community, or it might be showing
up in the world in a way that.

really helps, you know, right now I
think that we all have a light to shine

and even just being kind, even just
doing small things, you can help out

in your community in lots of little
ways, whether that's a donating, whether

that's putting together some sort of
food drive, food insecurity, is that.

You know, all time highs.

There's a lot of things we can do to
contribute beyond the things that are

maybe upsetting you the most on the news.

I promise you that taking action is
the antidote to experiencing anxiety

about what you're seeing on the news.

So this full Moon is saying,
Hey, what are you devoted to?

How can you take action?

How can you lend your light?

How can you let your passion be
ignited and follow that through?

The Leo Full moon.

It opened up Eclipse season.

So now we are officially in
the eclipses in the vortex.

We've entered the portal,
however you want to call it.

Eclipses generally speed things up,
so whatever is already happening,

we're just going to feel it more.

I often say that eclipses can
feel like time doesn't exist.

It can feel like they go so fast.

You might feel like you've got the,
what I call the psychic whiplash.

Eclipse time.

It's sort of, it's a time to
sit back and see what happens.

I'm not saying you don't take
action in your life, but it's

not a time to necessarily launch
that new thing or, Decide.

You might decide like, Hey,
I'm just gonna leave my job.

I have to do it.

That could be something that comes
from the eclipses, but in general,

we don't premeditate big changes
during eclipse season, but sometimes

the big changes have to be made
because of what the eclipse reveals.

So this is Eclipse season.

We're here.

Going to fast track whatever is
already on track for you, or the

very opposite, it will show up with
an unexpected fork or a blockade

and you'll be like, I had this plan.

I thought I was doing this plan,
and now I realize that this

plan is totally irrelevant.

Now, you know, I have to stop and take
a pause and see which way I wanna go,

or if I wanna turn around and go back.

Now every eclipse is not created equal.

Some eclipses are more intense
than others, and it also depends

on how it is hitting your chart.

So if these are not hitting your chart
at all, you might be smooth sailing

through the next, four to six weeks.

For some of us, it's going
to feel more intense.

So we will have an eclipse coming soon.

We're gonna have an eclipse
in two weeks, and that's going

to be a 28 degrees Aquarius.

We'll talk about it
more when we get to it.

that's gonna be on February 17th,
and then we'll have another eclipse.

On March 3rd, which will be
a lunar eclipse in Virgo.

We'll talk about that more when we get
close to them, but I just wanted to give

you a little overview of the next four
weeks because this is a very intense

period of time within a very intense year.

In addition to being in Eclipse season,
which is enough in and of itself, we have.

Saturn and Neptune joining
together in Aries at zero degrees.

Saturn, Neptune periods of time often
are associated with a great sense

of disillusionment within society.

And it paves the way
for a new era to begin.

And of course, we're feeling that we
haven't had this conjunction since 1989.

So think back to 1989.

We had the fall of the Berlin
Wall and we had Tiananmen Square.

There were a lot of big things
that were happening at that time.

that was a really profound moment in
human history that really paved the

way for what we see as the modern age.

Now.

We also had Saturn and Uranus
joined together in 1988.

And we are now, we just finished the sex
tiles of Saturn, Uranus that we've been

working with, which kind of went under
the radar with all this other stuff.

I've been talking a lot
about Saturn, Neptune.

I really failed to talk about
Saturn, Uranus sex tiles, and.

Today I was doing some research and
I'm really bummed I didn't talk about

it more because they were sextiling
through 25 and then we had the last

of those sex tiles on January 20th.

So we are now in this closing
cycle from now until 2032.

We're in the closing cycle of a
conjunction that took place in 1988.

So I'm interested in talking about
that more and thinking about that more.

I was talking to my husband
about how, what is happening

in our society right now.

it echoes the Japanese internment camps.

And 1988 was actually when they
paid reparations to all of those

Japanese citizens and legal
residents who were imprisoned.

And in 1988, around that
conjunction of Saturn and Uranus,

they were paid $20,000 each.

And given a personal apology from the
president who was Reagan at the time.

So I am interested to see if
history rhymes and come 2032.

This stain on American history that we're
living through at this moment is repaired.

that there is an effort to repair it.

So something to keep your eye on,
but also something to remember that.

We've been here before and we are
here, you and me, as human beings

to hopefully put a stop to it.

So we have to show up and shine
our light just like the full

moon and Leo has asked us to do.

Okay, so the other thing
that's coming, Saturn, Neptune,

conjunction, I mentioned that.

That's February 20th.

We will have Mercury
retrograde coming soon as well.

And we'll, we will have the Sun and
Mars squaring Uranus later this month.

So this week we have Mercury
and Venus squaring Uranus.

When the Sun and Mars Square
Uranus later this month, those are

probably gonna be even more intense,
particularly the Mars Square Uranus.

So pay attention to what comes up this
week and then remember that when we get

to the latter days of February, as we
move through the Sun and Mars squaring

Uranus, because I think that will.

Be very interesting and continue
to peel back the layers here.

One of the reasons I mentioned
them is because I think we've got a

lot more coming as we move through
Eclipse season, and I want us to, all

have the astrology to help inform.

How we show up in these times
because I would be doing myself

and you a disservice if I didn't
acknowledge the moment that we're in.

It is really hard to
astrologize these times.

It's really hard to sit here and
say, well, you know, Venus is

squaring Uranus, so do something
different for your date night.

Like, change it up, maybe like put on a
bright color if you always wear black.

Those things are true.

Those things are accurate.

Those things can be helpful and fun and.

A great use of astrology to help
us continue to explore who we

are and learn about ourselves.

But I've spent years doing this podcast.

I've been doing this podcast since
2019, and we're not in a moment

where it's worthwhile for me to say,
put on a bright color and try a new

date night for Venus Square, Uranus.

I mean, that was completely appropriate in
2019, but not where we are at this moment.

I was rambly today.

I did a lot of research before I got
on the mic, which is not a great thing

because then my mind is all over the
place and wanting to talk about lots of

things from the 1980s as you saw today.

So, thanks for bearing with me.

And remember, the most important
thing for you to do right now is to.

Take care of yourself.

'cause if you don't take care
of yourself, you're not gonna be

able to show up for anyone else.

And right now we need all
of us showing up full force.

So when you need to take a
break, take a break when you need

to honor your nervous system.

And take a bath.

Take a bath.

If you need to go to bed at
eight 30, go to bed at eight 30.

And when you need to drop off and
not pay attention for a day or two,

give yourself that permission because
it's a marathon, it's not a sprint.

We're gonna be doing this
in the short term till 2028.
